January Challenge ~ Stereographic Projection

I was hoping for clear skies but it looks like it ain't gonna happen before the end of the month so I grabbed a 5 shot panorama I did a few years ago.

Looks like something out of Star Wars. Surreal! I really like the clouds wrapping around the subject. I also think the black & white works fantastically for this. Maybe even the opening scene for an old Twilight Zone episode.

These actually work better when you perform a 360° panorama...from what I have read.

Wonderfully interesting effect Dean, where can we find details of the process?

I'm left wanting more examples...... and am wondering how this would look in color.

I am working on a color panorama that is 14 Portrait oriented 360° that makes a HUGE Photoshop file (see image). Might go with downsizing the files first!
