Double Exposure

In camera double exposure. Learning the various camera methodologies.

The first image is the photo by Bob Carlos Clarke "Faithful Unto Death" that has been hanging on my wall for 30+ years.

The second is the exterior wall of out home.

Converted in Photoshop with layers. I was attracted by the vertical marble columns against the brick mason work. Wondering if I should have pulled back a bit on the brick to keep the size from overpowering the image?

"Original" below for reference

Hi Dean, when you say 1st & 2nd image you are talking about the payers in the FIRST image presented, correct? with the original being the 2nd image you included?

It took some figuring out but I do enjoy the first/top image. I'm not sure if 'pulling back' the brick would help of hinder, you could try and see what results.

Did you try different blend modes for the layers? That may provide further options also.

Great to see folks experimenting, and I do enjoy the result.
