Caught up in the past

I have always been drawn to photographs of the past and the sense of time they portray. For some reason the past seems to offer so much more interest than that of our familiar present.

Here are some of my own images that fail otherwise but perhaps might do a little better were they captured at an earlier time.

Just playing around here, but would love to know if others have an equal footing in the past.

As a side note for any who may be interested, I have recently added a blog post on my website spotlighting the influence Stieglitz continues to have on contemporary photography.
