1839 Nomination

In general I'd like us all to share any events/accomplishments etc we achieve as I see the group as a collection of like-minded photographers, whom I personally view as friends.

This post is to announce a successful nomination into the 1839 awards Color Photography Contest under the non-professional/Storytelling category.

The competition has some fantastic work and is well worth a visit. Voting continues for the next 9 days, where you can vote daily for your favorites across multiple categories.

This is NOT a request to vote for my image (it is important to me that any votes cast are authentic and not harvested), but I genuinely feel that the competition is worth viewing and many of the works inspirational.
