July's challenge is quite simple - capturing something that is out of place. This could be something discovered, or a scene fabricated for creative effect.
As with other challenges, this is not restricted to images that fall within the M.A.E group boundaries.
As an example I am presenting items captured whilst on a hike through a forest in Vermont. The location of the cars was quite unexpected, being at least a mile from the nearest road, and not near any drivable trail. This just goes to show how the power of nature can quickly overcome that made by man.
So be sure to travel with your camera/phone in the coming weeks, and capture what you feel is out of the ordinary.
****** Bonus points for anyone can identify the make, model and (estimated) year of the cars. Just to give an idea of how long they have been out there.
From the shape of the badge on the hood the light blue seems to be a Chevy. From its rounded shape but lack of fins it’s 55 or earlier. Possibly a Bel Air
First photo reminds me of a '55 Chev Nomad.
Third photo reminds me of a '57 Plymouth Savoy
Fifth photo reminds me of another '55 Chev
I'm not a gearhead, so I'm just guessing.
Thanks Dean. The 1st & the 5th are actually the same car. If you are correct with your dating both must have been there for some time.
Ah...that's why they appear to be the same year. 🤣
Thanks for the input Steven.
