These two images are HDR compilations of the same five source images. The only difference is that #1 was processed in Photoshop and #2 was done in Luminar Neo. The only setting I touched was choosing which source images to use to eliminate ghosts, and that image was the same one for both.

I found the results quite surprising and cannot explain the substantial differences.

Wow! What a difference! It almost seems like PS starts at the minimum so you can edit by increasing while Luminar Neo starts with maximum so you can edit by decreasing. Interesting experiment.
