October Challenge - Seasonal Foliage

With foliage season upon us in the Northern Hemisphere and Spring in the South, how can this month's challenge NOT revolve around foliage?

So present us with images of seasonal leaves - whether they be those in ending their season with a blaze of color, or those just beginning their existence as they bud out.

Ideally members will feel motivated to get out and enjoy capturing the season, but if not older images will be accepted for review.

As a SECOND challenge this month, please try and comment on each post. The group thrives on engagement, and comments drive discussion.

For my own part, I include images you may have seen before as I await our foliage season to progress.

The first I'm calling 'frozen in time', the second ' rising fog on Belvedere'

Happy shooting!

I'm sure someone will come up with a way.
