I was out of town for a week and thought I'd try different things.
1) Landscape Minimalist: is when the weather says, "Low clouds, complete overcast skies, and cold wind won't deter you, well how about I add a little rain into the mix?"
Wetland with nothing to photograph.
R5 w/ 100-500
f/8 ~ 1/320 sec ~ ISO 1250 ~ 500mm
2) ICM: Accomplished using a EF-RF adapter with a pinhole body cap using an upward motion. Same day and location as #1.
R5 w/ pinhole body cap
f/185 ~ 1/10 sec. ~ ISO 40,000 ~ 50mm
3) ICM: Using Canon's IBIS: High Resolution shot Upward motion during 9 exposures and camera saves as one file. (Pixel shift - These make for about 278MB jpeg files)
R5 w/100-500mm
f/5 ~ 1/800 ~ ISO 250 ~ 200mm
4) ICM: Same method as #3 different ship; different day.
R5 w/100-500mm
f/5 ~ 1/1000 ~ ISO 100 ~ 223mm
5) Minimalist-ish: This was shot through an identical door on the opposite side of the building.
R5 w/ 24mm
f/4.5 ~ 1/80 sec. ~ ISO 50 ~ 24mm

6) Bonus: From the balcony of our motel room.
#1 I really like it! The reflections are perfect. #2 is lovely as well. I always like the effect of vertical ICM on tall grasses. It always has that impressionistic feeling about it. #3 & #4 has nice colors. Something about the effect always seem to create pleasing shades of color. Did you try any moving horizontally shots at all? I was curious how that would turn out. #5 Love this shot. After the initial "forest" view, there little "trees" to enjoy. #6 How far was the eagle? I love eagle shots. This is nicely composed as well!
Hello Jennifer.
Here is a horizontal of #4.
#6 The eagle(s) at 100mm earlier in the day and without a crop...so, it was a fair distance away.
Well, nice shot of that eagle! ... I think I like the vertical movement better than the horizontal. Thanks for posting these. I appreciated it!
I think I actually prefer the ICM effect on this image, but the composition of your earlier one (space in front of the ship) is better.
This one might be interesting to see with generative expand/crop allowing space for the ship to sail into.
Hi Dean - late to this as I have been traveling. What an interesting set of images.
I especially enjoy the 1st (for its simplicity), #5 for its pure graphical nature and #4 due to its abstract nature.
I find ICM of vehicles to be challenging due to their form, but you've done a good job here.
Good job also spotting (and capturing) the eagle :-)
