On the way home via 422 after Christmas dinner at the cousins in Wyomissing. In addition to my usual techniques, I used a fair amount of Blendif in Photoshop. If you double the number of yellow boxes and add one, you have the number of layers.
#s 1 & 4 are most interesting to me. The bokeh in the first one is nice while the mirror sets the scene. In #4, the abstract framing around the image is a nice addition to what's going on inside.
Hi Andrew, with all the goings on over the past few days I am late getting to this.
It's great that you continue to get out and experiment with the camera. If I had to choose, I think #1 would be my favorite, possibly due to the composition.
I'd be interested to see what you can do with technique during this month's 'inclement weather' challenge. Do you feel the technique is suited to shots through a rain-soaked window, or snowy conditions?
Even if not I think it might be good to experiment and see results (for our own education).
