The Boxer

Here's an image built from a scene witnessed on a recent trip to Boston. This turns out to be the Boxer Hotel.

I was intrigued by the shape of the building, and thought it may be suited to the Ventosa 'in the round' technique.

This is the result of multiple shots, each keeping the hotel entrance in a similar position in the frame as I wandered in an arc.

I think there are about 15 images that were subsequently blended in Photoshop, I have to say I was getting some funny looks as I times shots in-between traffic as I worked across the main road.

Alan Brown I like how the 5 windows are more in focus than the rest of the image. The blur of the surrounding sucks my eye in. I keep wanted to see if I can see a shadow of a person in the window with the shade half way up.
