Great Profession

Many people are fortunate to study Photojournalism in college. I got my education by OJT (on the job training) until later in my life when I went to the military Defense Information Instructor School at Ft. Meade, Maryland.
I loved it because every assignment was different. I got to go on the campaign trail with Presidents to be Jimmy Carter and Ronald Reagan. I worked very hard to give the Art Directors something different. I would research my subjects thoroughly prior to each assignment. It is a wide open field especially for women photographers who are very good. Many of the greats have passed away. My images have been in Life, U.S.News & World Report, and Sports Illustrated to name a few.
