Looking for critiques

Please help me with becoming a more well rounded photographer

The first photo:
-- it’s out of focus
-- avoid showing only the thumb. Either show most (if not all) of the hand, or none of the hand.
-- instead of doing the corner eye look, work on just nailing a pretty decent straight on headshot.
-- lastly, avoid shooting on railroad tracks. :) It's just way overdone.

The third photo:
-- try shooting eye level instead of shooting down on them.
-- try to capture dynamic, funny, or cute moments. They are kids, they have lots of those. :)
