Hello,
I have a new but growing aerial drone photography business. More and more clients are asking for regular stills photography however I have no idea of what to charge.
Right now a small boutique hotel (owned by Hilton) would like pictures taken of their entire property....rooms, lobby, pool, patio area, etc. Thinking 80-100 photos taken and they pick 20-30 to use/license for social medial, website, etc. Can any one perhaps provide some guidance as what to charge, what should be included on the quote, etc.
I am new, so willing to do it at the low end of the scale, however don't want to discount so much that it screams amateur/low quality. Thanks in advance for anyone's help with this item. Cheers - Chris
Start with $30 an hour for your time onsite, plus $200 to get there and your gear, and then go with $20-$50 per image.
So say it takes 6 hours. 6X30 = 180+200= $380 so round up to $400 if they order 20 photos at $20 a peace that is another $400 so you would end up with $800 for your work. If you are just starting out that is how I would do it.
