The Last Gondol

28mm · f/4 · ISO 640

From my fantastic trip to Photograph Italy. I wish I could stay more than one day in Venice, because of all the beautiful motives and photo spots there. But one day, I will return.. It is the incredibly beautiful Church of San Giorgio Maggiore in the background. This island had their first church built about 790. Later there was a Benedictine Monastery there. In 1223 all these buildings vere destroyed by an earthquake. What we can see today, is mainly built during the 1500`s. I did a combination of a long exposure with a ND filter, and one normal fast shot, to get this calm type of result. And thoroughly color edited and color graded to get the oldish rustic style I like so much.
