Empty space, white space, an opening to the world. This was the chosen theme by Pierre Turtaut for this beautiful project. He pushed the models to express themselves. Aside from being nude, the photographer challenged the models to, as he described, monopolize their environment. A model’s true beauty gets lost within busy backgrounds. In this case, they had no choice but to embrace and present their true selves. This expression was what interested Peter. Let’s talk about nudity! Here, it loses all sexual connotation and takes liberating aspects. Be real, be you, be nude! For this project, the photographer chose to collaborate with people from different walks of life, professional or not. From the student hairdresser, the working man, to the pro model. He wanted “Mr. Toutlemonde” invading the space.
