When I took this picture I had no idea how it was going to turn out. Church service was just ending and the lighting wasn't that great and we only had about 10 minutes to get a decent shot. The end result of this somewhat odd photoshoot was a really great picture that I still feel is one of my better portraits. I also have to say that Kalieb makes a great model and that I am proud of far he has come. When I first started photographing him, all I could get out of him was what I call "high eyes". Basically, he was never looking at the camera properly. After a few months though I got him to look at the camera properly. This is why I enjoy photography so much. It's more than just the photograph... It's about the story behind the photograph.
