This is what happens when you make an effort in your own backyard.
For years, I have traveled for photography. This time I used the tools available to me and found a location not so far from home. About the same distance, I would travel for a sunset shoot anywhere else in the world... so an hour drive and two hours of hiking.
I know this doesn´t hit everyone, but I feel there is an irony to the fact that I live in a landscape photographers paradise, but I will go through lengths to capture a sunset when I am away from home, but when I am home I barely drive for 20 minutes...
