Tree Root

This old tree root lies dug into the ground outside my house as an ornament. I’ve wanted to get it into the studio for months, but didn’t know how to get it in. Eventually cracked and dragged a load of gear outside, made a background out of foam core and shot it with natural, diffused light instead.
