Wrapping up 2018 from a Christmas campaign shoot with Rainbow club footwear.
This shot took a lot of planning and was hard to get right. The shoes were hung with fishing wire to take the weight out so they were not relying on the ribbon. The background is a gold board from a local craft store but once lit I could see all the imperfections in the surface. So I shot it separately out of focus to create a nice smooth gradient and added it back in later in retouching.
