So, I decided to head out early this morning for some Milky Way action. I went to my usual spot for such photos, though searching for different perspectives. Instead of taking the hiking trails like normal, I ended up finding the helicopter pad used for rescues within the State Park. It’s always a hit or miss for me when processing images from this location. More often than not I can’t seem to get the colors right to really bring out the core. There was some sparse cloud cover so I wasn’t really to worried about it this time. Also, I tried something I haven’t before, I used the noise reduction tool in camera rather than in post. Any tips would be greatly appreciated!
