Washing Away

This is an abstract from a recent winter beach visit. There was a small strip of pattern in the sand that ran the entire length of the beach. It is between the sodden sand and the dry sand as the tide goes out. I've taken many of these in the past but this is one the resonates with me as a successful abstract composition.

Is this series of a beach? They are great but what is it? Oh wait guess I should read before I type. Sorry. Awesome light.

No worries! I live at the shore of an area with long, flat beaches. No giant cliffs and crashing waves. Sand starts to be really interesting!!

great scene-depth
