Hi hank. Am amazed by your achievement. you have already mentioned about SS 1/160 at mid aperture range.
Are these shots composites or single frames. your strobe set to fire at front shutter or rear shutter? Am a student. Please feel free to add or correct my knowledge. Thanks.
Hi Vijay. These are all single photos with very little editing... timing is everything. I used two Canon Speedlites to illuminate the dancers. A shutter speed of 1/160s would likely yield motion blur. To freeze the action, I set my Speedlites to 1/4 power which produces an amazing flash duration of 1/2348s. As for front/rear shutter? I don't know...hahaha.
