Iris Side Angle

I shot this photo with my 300mm 2.8 prime, so I couldn't back out to the entire hawk in the composition. I would have preferred that, but I thought the angle on its eye was very interesting. The fact that this bird literally flew to land right in front of me, was awesome! I was amazed it was so bold. Seemed to not mind me at all. I wasn't in a blind.
