Even though I am primarily a wedding photographer, I learned a lot in my studio. One of the hardest things to master (and I'm still learning) is to add the perfect amount of light and shadows. When I first started out, every photo was too bright, overexposed, etc.
Once I got comfortable, I learned to start with one light source (even it was natural light), and then add more if needed.
For this shoot I used:
