Breathing woodland

Last week-end was really rainy in Switzerland, but we had a good point, the blooming of the wild garlic finally started !

We spend the whole saturday afternoon to explore a swiss german forest that's well known for white wild garlic carpets in this season.

We were not disappointed, the atmosphere with the humidity feeling, the sound of the rain on the leaves and the incredible smell of the wild garlic was really enjoyable.

Finding a composition in forest isn't an easy thing for me. With normal landscapes, it's often easy to structure your composition, with layers popping to the eyes (foreground, middle, background).

To the opposite in forest, you have a chaos and your brain have to structure it, to make the layers pop.

I'm pretty happy with this one, for a beginner woodland photographer like me.
