Thomas McWilliam's picture

Witch's Cauldron

Drove roughly an hour to get to this spot, and raced the rising sun like a madman.

This shot was taken about an hour and a half after sunrise. I cut my feet pretty badly on the barnacles to get to this area, but I think it was worth the cuts and scrapes.

Thanks for looking.

This has an otherworldly feel to it, Thomas, with that misty look in the water and the glow in the sky. Also because it avoids the more usual beautiful, glistening rocks in such littoral zone imagery. You have a very creative touch. Sorry about your feet!

Thanks again Chris! It's appreciated, really. This was actually shot at 9mm, I need to edit that. It's just that it's a manual lens (Laowa for APS-C), and I don't get the EXIF data for it. Thank you for the encouragement; it means the world to me.

Oh and the feet are well healed, thanks for the wishes!
