Legends of the land

As I stare at the magnificence before me, I can imagine the native Americans who passed through. These monuments have witnessed the rise and fall of Hopi, the Mojave, the Havasupai, and the Navajo Nation. All put down their roots, all eventually move on. What secrets do these monuments protect, what wonders have they witnessed? As I watch the morning light arrive, the shadows reveal the spirits of these peoples long gone but never forgotten..legends of the land.
