I got an idea to shoot tram or train straight on, with telephoto to create this nice compression effect. But it is not as easy as it seems.
You have to be either on the track (which is dangerous and you can be fined) or you have to find sharp turn to be able to take a photo of straight part of the track with a tram while being safe.
Even though I've found 3 such locations it's still not that easy cause they are stationary for max 30 seconds so it's hard to get desired composition :).
It convinces me a lot. He has raised several scenarios, it is night, use a tripod with high iso or slow speed. The result seems very good to me and your work is excellent.
