It's sure a lot better than the old days, when I had to make five or six rolls of K-64 last for a week. You had to think pretty hard before pressing the shutter. Nowadays you can cast your net a thousand times in a single morning!
I liked Darin's comment as well. I thought the same thing. It could have been a still image right out of John Ford's "Grapes of Wrath" (just with snow replacing the dust).
And speaking of John Ford, many of your other images from around the Colorado Plateau share his artistic sensibility. They definitely call to mind the classic Westerns he filmed in the same region. The landscape was always a central character in his movies.

It looks like a classic shot from a 30’s film, but I cannot remember which movie. Beautiful shot.
