The hoodoos of winter

Today was a hike to remember in Bryce Canyon National Park. We arrived two days ago and though it didn't start very well I finally got my technical issues sorted. On a cloudless Sunday afternoon my wife and I along with our best friends hiked the Sunset Point through the Queen's Garden finishing at Sunrise Point. It was a fabulous but sadly really crowded. Eventually the crowds faded but not the beauty as it seemed around each corner another jewel of nature was displayed to feast our eyes on. This place unique and if I never return I believe I have witnessed something special...the hoodoos of winter.

High Mark, Another great image! I remember visiting Zion, Bryce, and Coral Pink Sand Dunes over the President's Day weekend circa 1980. We pretty much had everything in all three areas entirely to ourselves. What a difference four decades make! Bob

Thx Bob! It is truly incredible the amount of traffic going through the parks in southern Utah, indeed the west. The fact people are appreciating what they offer is great, the fact some people want to treat it as their living room...not so great.
