Goldcrest

This is my favourite photo I took of a goldcrest (Regulus regulus), the smallest bird species in Europe. I was home on this rainy day and I heard a little bird singing right outside my window. I looked out and spotted this little beauty. I spent about 30 minutes trying to take some photos of it. After some time it went to this spot, which was more open, giving me this shot.
