My first camera was given to me by my parents. It was a Kodak Brownie Fiesta b&w film camera. I captured moments of my sisters & brothers. I then purchased a Polaroid camera. I spent several years in the U.S. Navy onboard a guided missile cruiser U.S.S. Fox. We spent several months overseas. A shipmate had a 35 mm film camera. I was able to utilize this camera while overseas. Upon my return to the U.S. I attended the Art Institute of Boston. I was employed at an insurance company in Boston, where I photographed several events sponsored by the United Way. Some time after leaving the insurance company, I managed a small portrait studio around the Boston area. I now am employed at a medical center. When I am not working, I am volunteering my photographic services to charitable organizations, Project Smile ( abused/traumatized children ), The Accelerated Cure Project ( Multiple Sclerosis ) and WGBH Radio. Photography has and always will be my passion.
