Matthew Lacy

I first got into photography in the 5th grade, when I entered images into the county fair's contest. In 7th grade I had an image showcased at the state fair. It's been a long road to where I'm at, and I hope to keep improving. My most frequent subjects are my cats, but for my portfolio, I tend to focus on sports, wildlife, and Lego minifigures. Sports photos are the largest portion of my work. I tend to gravitate toward simpler compositions in my photos. I have done work for individuals, families, churches, and sports leagues, in addition to serving as chief photographer of my high school's media department.

Beyond photography, I am a published author, knowledge addict, and all-around nerd. I love to read and write, and I hope to teach English one day.
