I was born and raised in Chicago, IL, and my passion for photography started when I watched my grandfather and uncle take photos at family events. I was fascinated by the images they created and began practicing with my father's Polaroid camera. As I learned more about the process of photography, I upgraded to a Kodak Disc and eventually a Canon AE-1 during high school.

However, it wasn't until the 1990s that my love for photography truly blossomed. I was working in a digital imaging department at a computer electronics store and had the opportunity to learn about and experiment with various high-end digital cameras, scanners, printers, and other technology. This experience, along with working with other photographers, helped me develop my skills behind the camera.

I wanted to share my vision with others, so I set up a makeshift home studio and began photographing models on the weekends. My quick turnaround time and use of outdoor locations and rented studio spaces helped me gain a following among local models looking to build their portfolios. Over time, my client list expanded to include models who have been seen in television, film, and magazines.

These days, you can often find me wandering the lakefront and downtown areas of Chicago, camera in hand and always on the lookout for my next shot. My interests have recently focused on street photography and capturing the city's beautiful architectural energy.
