Travel the World With Drone Pilot Boyan Ortse

With drones becoming more and more popular, it can be challenging to find other pilots and creatives that produce good, authentic content. A few years ago, I followed Boyan Ortse on Instagram because his work stood out to me and here we are today with an awesome video he made from all the content he gathered in 2018.

Drones have become such useful tools for so many people all over the world. It is amazing to see what people are capable of doing with them and even more amazing to see what they are able to create when they have the freedom to fly. Ortse seemed to be the type of guy who would go out of his way to find very specific locations to shoot. On his journeys, he shares stories and really keeps his audience engaged. You can find Ortse in a pink sweatshirt, lurking around with some other awesome drone pilots from all over the world.

I hope this video encourages people to get out there and explore. I know that I am always inspired by the work I see online and these types of videos make me want to find some more time to get out there, explore new places, and fly.

For more on Ortse, check out his Instagram and website.

I am a huge nerd when it comes to drones and have been flying for over 4 years. I enjoy doing aerial photography as my personal work but shoot tons of video for work as well. I am a part of Simply Visual Productions and Simply Sounds, working my way into an industry I couldn't be happier to be a part of.

Absolutely stunning content.
But still a lot of those places are freaking illegal to fly. Either close to airports or above major cities.
Fly safe ppl...

I thought the same, he might have had permission though :-/

Boyan is the man! He also more than likely has permission to be flying in these places, especially with the experience he has.

I have SO many questions about drone photography/videography that I don't know where to start or whom I should ask about it. I am getting older and am a disabled veteran, but I still want to try it before....

Feel free to shoot me an email Tim :) you are more than welcome to ask me any questions you have. I'd love to help you out.

What a amazing movie, I wish I would have been with them on this adventure!
True, using a drone for photography opens up many new opportunities for a more versatile photographic activity. Unfortunately, there are a large number of pilots who deliberately violate the local air rules (I have used my drone just a few weeks so my statement applies only to Finland in this case).
Many pilots behavior has led to stricter rules here in Finland. The highest flight altitude have being lowered to 150 m (492 ft) and from next month this year the police will also have rights to shoot down drones flying illegally.
So far, I enjoy every flight and here is one of my drone photos.
Fly safely out there in the big world :)

Labeled as being shot with Mavic 2 Pro but the controller looks to be for a Phantom 0.59, 1.27, 1.48 and 2.10
