Helpful Advice for Photography Beginners

Photography can be a bit daunting when you are new to the craft, with a wide range of technical and creative concepts and techniques sitting before you. If you are unsure of where to start, check out this great video tutorial that details some of the most important fundamentals and how they affect the creation of an image.

Coming to you from PJ Pantelis, this excellent video tutorial will teach you about exposure, shutter speed, aperture, and ISO. It is crucial to develop a confident master of the exposure parameters, as they control both the technical and creative rendering of your images. And while you may have heard that professionals use manual mode (and they do some of the time), there is nothing wrong with using a semiautomatic mode, such as aperture priority, to make it easier to navigate the learning process and see how changing different parameters affects the image. In fact, many professionals use these semiautomatic modes in a variety of scenarios to make their lives easier. Check out the video above for the full rundown from Pantelis.
