A Beginner's Guide to Landscape Photography

Landscape photography is the type of thing in which there is always something new to learn, a new technique to try, or a new creative approach with which to experiment. If you are new to the genre and ready to get started, check out this fantastic video tutorial that will show you the basics to get you up and running in no time.

Coming to you from Perea Photography, this excellent video tutorial will show you everything you need to know to get started with landscape photography. If I could give a piece of advice to any budding landscape photographer, it would be to carry a longer focal length lens in addition to the standard 16-35mm or similar choice. It is true that wide angle lenses are often the tool of choice for landscape work, but longer focal lengths can make for especially interesting and abstract images, and it is particularly important to perform this sort of experimentation when you are first developing your creative voice. Check out the video above for the full rundown from Perea.
