Hannibal . . . well almost

This photo of Tristan was taken as part of his portraits.

I had this idea in mind to create something a bit more abstract and I recall seeing these pins done before. With about 100 pins and a tube of eyelash glue I started this journey. Tristan sat for about 45 mins whilst dosing off. Eventually I felt sorry for him and did not glue the pins to cover the other side of his face too, but decided to "cut-it-short". I didn't hate the look and seeing the images now, I'm glad I didn't cover the other side of his face as one can clearly see his jaw-line now.

Post-processing wise, I did my normal routine of blemish removal, FS on the skin and added some darker tones and colors to cool down this image significantly to add to the darker concept. I've also de-saturated the image a fair bit.
