Probably one of the more popular tourist spots in Queenstown/Arrowtown, but you can avoid the main crowd at the lake by going off track. I did just that and was greeted with this up close and personal view of the lake. There's toilet facility for a bonus! I have no idea why I feel so much colder when in Queenstown though. Nevertheless, beautiful morning to just sit back and see people getting out of their campervans.
