Noting the incredible textures and patterns in the sand left by the sea foam, I framed up the perfectly spaced pylons with the dramatic, pre-storm sky to capture the action. As the waves surged and receded, I kept shooting images until I captured that perfect moment where all the elements came together in harmony.
Using a Lee Little Stopper and their three stop soft grad ND, I was able to retain detail in the burning horizon and slow my shutter to emphasize the movement of the sea foam.
