Geomagnetic storm

Working all winter long above the Arctic Circle as a northern lights guide allows me to see many beautiful auroras, but this one was probably the most massive one i've ever seen. Beautiful cold and clear night on the island of Kvaloya, near Tromso, northern Norway and geomagnetic storm...pretty much the best you can hope for :)
Just to give you an idea of bright it was, this is a 2.5 sec exosure at f2.8, ISO6400, no moon. I could have easily gone lower with the ISO to get less noise, but i really wanted a short(-ish) exposure to retain that cool texture of the lights in the sky.
