Pastel Sunset / Twilight

Believe it or not this is actually a landscape the sky is just larger and it’s not Montana. That small bulge at the bottom of the frame is an 8,023’ (2,447m) volcanic peak in Northwest Arizona just north of the Grand Canyon. Usually when someone has to point out something in a photograph it’s an animal ;). Considering the time of day all the foreground was in silhouette mode this is why I chose to minimize it to the minuscule of reference points. After following a desert bighorn sheep a friend and I settled in to see if more were in the area had a great sunset to which this was the aftermath.

2 horizontal frame panorama.
