Darwin Falls - Death Valley NP - California

Darwin Falls was a little tricky for us to find as the turn-off road was not well marked when we were there. We did eventually find the place to park and headed out on the trail which leads up a canyon. The trail is fairly straight forward until you get close to the falls, where there was a rope hanging over a large boulder to assist your climb. Half our party stayed behind, as we continued the remaining way to the falls. A sign admonishes "Do not Enter" as it is a drinking water source for the nearby area of Panamint Springs. It is amazing there is water flowing out of the ground even when it's well over 100 degrees Fahrenheit in the middle of a desert!
