A Review of the Highly Affordable TTArtisan 27mm f/2.8 Lens

TTArtisan has established themselves as a manufacturer of some of the cheapest lenses on the market, making them a popular option for anyone who wants access to a variety of common options at prices that will not break the bank. One such lens is the TTArtisan 27mm f/2.8, and this excellent video review takes a look at the sort of performance and image quality you can expect from it in practice.

Coming to you from Dylan Goldby, this great video review takes a look at the TTArtisan 27mm f/2.8 lens for Fujifilm X, Sony E, and Nikon Z APS-C cameras. At $149, the 27mm f/2.8 is rather affordable, particularly for a lens with autofocus, though it still comes with a nice range of features, including:

  • Compatibility with eye-tracking autofocus modes
  • Short and lightweight pancake design
  • Stepping AF motor suitable for both photo and video work
  • Minimum focusing distance of 13.8 inches
  • Seven-blade diaphragm for smoother bokeh
  • Rear lens caps with USB-C interface for improved performance thanks to firmware updates

Altogether, the 27mm f/2.8 looks like quite a portable and nice performer given its price, making it a great walkaround or travel option for a variety of users. Check out the video above for Goldby's full thoughts on the lens.
