A Review of the Impressive Nikon NIKKOR Z 135mm f/1.8 S Plena Lens

The Nikon NIKKOR Z 135mm f/1.8 S Plena lens is making waves for its incredible image quality and bokeh, making it an enticing option for portrait and wedding photographers. Just how good is it in usage? This great video review takes a look at everything you can expect from the lens.

Coming to you from Bobby Tonelli, this great video takes a first look at the new Nikon NIKKOR Z 135mm f/1.8 S Plena lens. While Nikon started out with some more pragmatically oriented lenses when they first brought out the Z mount, they have moved into releasing some more extreme lenses more recently, with this being one of the most notable. 85mm lenses have long been where manufacturers put some of their most impressive design and technology, but the 135mm focal length has often been a nice alternative, and in the last few years, they have enjoyed a resurgence, with many manufacturers releasing some impressively competitive examples. And so far, it seems that the 135mm f/1.8 S Plena sits near the top of the pile. Of course, for that kind of performance, you will have to shell out, but it sure looks like you get an impressive lens in return. Check out the video above for Tonelli's full thoughts.
