A Review of the Incredible Nikon NIKKOR Z 135mm f/1.8 S Plena Lens

The Nikon NIKKOR Z 135mm f/1.8 S Plena lens has been turning heads for offering some of the most impressive results from a portrait lens in quite a few years, making it worth a look from portrait and wedding photographers. How good are the results? This fantastic video review takes a look at the sort of performance you can expect from it in practice.

Coming to you from Julia Trotti, this great video takes a first look at the new Nikon NIKKOR Z 135mm f/1.8 S Plena lens. The Z mount initially began with some more practical lenses that offered useful if somewhat unexciting specs and capabilities. However, more recently, we have seen some more extreme options, with the 135mm f/1.8 possibly being the most impressive example. Traditionally, the 85mm focal length has been where we have seen some of the most impressive portrait offerings, but 135mm has long been an alternative. In recent years, the 135mm focal length has grown in popularity, and several manufacturers have put out some highly impressive and competitive options. And for anyone who is a fan of that focal length, Nikon's offering looks superb. Check out the video above for Trotti's full thoughts on the lens.

I prefer 200mm and up for face..85 and 135 are for full body shots

You must have a ton of space to work with. Though personally, I prefer the 85 to 135 range for headshots.
