A Review of the New Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 5

With an array of flagship features and a gigantic folding display, the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 5 looks like the sort of powerhouse phone that creatives who want to do serious work on the go crave. With an improved hinge, brighter display, and faster processor, should you place your preorder? This great video review takes a look at the sort of performance and image quality you will be able to expect.

Coming to you from Matthew Moniz, this excellent video review takes a look at the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 5 phone. With a new processor, a new 2x portrait mode, and faster night mode, the Fold 5 is mostly iterative improvements under the hood over the Fold 4. Of course, though, the reason anyone considers the phone is for that screen, which receives a nice bump in brightness from 1,200 nits to 1,750 nits and also folds flatter with less moving parts than the Fold 4. Certainly, for creatives who like to work on the go, having that especially large and bright screen can be a real boon for editing photos and video and the like. I'm certainly glad to see folding phones making some good progress. Check out the video above for the full rundown from Moniz.
