A Review of the Samyang AF 75mm f/1.8 Lens for Fujifilm X Series Cameras

Samyang has long been known for creating manual focus lenses that offer fantastic image quality and sharpness in tandem with extremely affordable prices. However, in the last few years, the company has moved into producing autofocus options, though their prices have remained highly affordable. This makes the AF 75mm f/1.8 for Fujifilm X Series mirrorless cameras a particularly exciting option, and this excellent video review takes a look at the sort of performance and image quality you can expect from it in usage.

Coming to you from Pav SZ, this great video review takes a look at the Samyang AF 75mm f/1.8 lens for Fujifilm X Series mirrorless cameras. Coming in at just 2.7 inches (6.9 cm) long and weighing only 9 oz (257 g), this is an especially portable, which helps it pair nicely with Fujifilm's small X Series cameras. Despite its relatively small size, the lens features two HR (high-refractive) and three ED (extra-low dispersion) elements for deeper contrast and improved sharpness in addition to advanced coating technology for further improvements in contrast in tricky lighting conditions. Samyang also included nine rounded aperture blades for particularly smooth bokeh. Altogether it looks like an option worth a look for Fujifilm shooters. Check out the video above for the full rundown.
