A Review of the Tamron 150-500mm f/5-6.7 Di III VXD Lens

Supertelephoto zoom lenses are remarkably versatile, making them well suited for a huge range of applications. In recent years, we have seen a real boom in more affordable options that offer great performance and image quality at prices that make them far more accessible. One such option is the Tamron 150-500mm f/5-6.7 Di III VXD, and this excellent video review takes a look at everything you can expect from it in usage.

Coming to you from Dustin Abbott, this great video review takes a look at the Tamron 150-500mm f/5-6.7 Di III VXD. We have seen a rise in these sorts of lenses in recent years, and this has produced a lot of competition, allowing most creatives to find an option that fits their budget and needs. At $1,299, the 150-500mm f/5-6.7 Di III VXD is rather affordable for what it offers, though, of course, you will be working with a rather narrow set of maximum apertures. That being said, with top-shelf supertelephoto primes frequently costing 10 times as much and modern cameras offering excellent high-ISO capabilities, it is worth considering Tamron's option. Check out the video above for Abbott's full thoughts on the lens.
