Lee sat down with world class wedding photographer Pye Jirsa for and episode of Critique the Community filled with extreme scrutiny. Pye gave some fantastic and very specific feedback. Do you agree with him?
Congratulations to our two winners! Ken Johnson submitted the highest average community rated image to win a free Fstoppers tutorial. Pye decided to also give away a prize from SLR Lounge and Arlo Williams was chosen to receive a free copy of The Complete Wedding Photography Training System. We will be in touch with both of you to claim your prize.
If you'd like to participate in the next episode of Critique the Community, the topic is a little out of the box. We'll be looking for portratis with birds. If you don't have any of those shots, feel free to submit any image with a bird in it.
We're excited to host Pye Jirsa from SLR Lounge for our next episode of Critique the Community. Pye is one of the best wedding photographers in the United States and will be sure to provide some excellent feedback to the images.
Pye is coming to Puerto Rico to hang out with Lee and Patrick for a few days. Due to the short length of his stay, we have a much shorter submission time than normal. Between now and May 12th at 11:45 PM EST, you have the opportunity to submit two of your best wedding images to this contest. We will select a total of 20 images for the final video and from those will award two entrants a free Fstoppers original tutorial. The first entrant will be chosen by the highest averaged community rated image. The second winner will be chosen at random.
After you've entered your images, scroll through the other submissions to give fair feedback based on the Fstoppers rating scale which you can review below. The easiest way to rate the images is to use your number and key pads. We also encourage you to leave helpful and encouraging notes for your fellow contestants when you notice an aspect of their image which could use improvement.
